Antalya's POV
I stood frozen in the hallway, my declaration of war still echoing in the silence. My heart pounded as I waited for Dominic's reaction – surely threatening to kill an Alpha in his own home would mean my death. My hands trembled slightly, but I kept my chin raised, refusing to show fear.
If he kills me now, at least I'll die defiant.
But instead of rage or violence, Dominic stepped closer and did something that shocked me more than any punishment could have. He reached out and gently patted my head, like I was a child throwing a tantrum.
"I look forward to seeing you try, little wildcat," he murmured, his voice a dark caress. "Every attempt, every scheme, every moment you spend plotting my death... it all just proves how much I consume your thoughts."
