Addison stood in line watching Jess. She was bent over, writing in a notebook, and Addison couldn’t help but notice how tired her friend looked. It made her feel bad that she’d been so wrapped up in her own problems lately that she hadn’t even stopped to consider that her best friend might need an ear, too.
