The previous tension in the room somehow turned to a discussion between two men.… It felt as if both of them were detectives working on the same case with each other, more so than a police officer and a suspect that was currently being questioned.
“Whoever attacked her is likely injured. You can check, I don’t have a scratch on me.” Noah said while leaning back into his chair. “That should be enough to prove my innocence.” He continued.
“It still doesn’t rule out the possibility of you being the one to hire the man.” Irene chimed in again. ‘I already know it’s not him that did it… but I have to make it as if I am suspecting him otherwise I might be kicked off the case… I hope Sebby gets to the same conclusion as well…’ He thought to himself, the expression
