~Antonio The quiet of my room was unbearable. I paced back and forth, my fists clenched, my thoughts racing. I couldn’t shake the nagging feeling that something was wrong. “Mind your business,” I muttered under my breath, walking over to the small fridge in the corner of my room. I yanked the door open and grabbed a bottle of whiskey, uncapping it with shaky hands. “She’s not your wife. She’s his. Whatever happens between them is none of your concern.” The burn of the whiskey did little to settle my nerves as I sank into the chair near the window. I stared out into the night, trying to convince myself that I didn’t care, that it didn’t matter. But the pep talk wasn’t helping.
