I sat on the bed, hugging my knees to my chest, my body trembling as silent tears fell down my cheeks.
I hated myself.
What had gotten into me?

I buried my face in my hands, sobbing harder. If the roles were reversed, if i had been the one lying unconscious in the hospital, he wouldn’t have cheated on me so easily.
