"my lighter said it wouldn't go out so what's going on now" Zay heard something moving around he tried to barely open his eye and stay still

Zay opened his eyes to see a golden glow on his chest. It took zay's eyes a sec to focus on it.

"Wait a minute isn't this a salamander it looks a little different but this does look like the pictures I've seen"

Zay and the salamander looked at each other for what felt like awhile before Zay tried to grab it. It seemed like the salamander freaked out when Zay reached for it. Zays chest felt like he landed on a fire as his fingertips chared he jumped and looked at his fingers it looks like a 1st degree burn.

Zay started looking around for the salamander out of the corner of his eye he saw a golden glow moving away into a group of bushes Zay quickly caught up and kept following the salamander it kept going before Zay realized it there were more salamanders showing up, some of them had a reddish flow to them well others looked normal .

"Where are they going it seems like they are all going to the same place wait where is the gold one " Zay said the trees started to change little by little

Zay kept following them through a crowded forest. The trees looked like they were burnt but seemed to still be alive with leaves with a red hue. The thick trees covered up the sky but past some trees Zay saw what looked like a mountain.

As Zay got closer he felt that it was getting warmer he kept going once he reached the mountain he saw the golden salamander on the wall at the entrance of a cave there eyes locked, for a sec Zay saw a flash of a little girl. She had golden eyes and bright brown hair. She had a crimson dress on with golden bows in her hair she had pigtails.
