CHAPTER 10

*Azzy*

After our conversation about my past, Nygel became..mmmm gentle, I mean every move I make he makes sure I'm safe. One of the reasons was because I'm pregnant hahaha well I like it.

About Jason I never went to 'our meeting place'. Nygel didn't let me go that time and says that he will take care of it. I guess he did because Jason never called again.

Now the month of January, my third month. We cannot hide it from the rest of the house anymore, especially to Mrs. Johnson, you can't hide anything from her. Jeremy went jumping around the house when he knew that I am going to have a baby. I was glad that he's happy. Well about Nygel's parents...

"Where are those two idiots?!" Elizabeth storming her way in, followed by her husband who has a little smile in his face. Wow this is not the Elizabeth that I knew the first time they visited us. "There you are." Narrowing her eyes on us."You sneaky foxes."

"Hi?" I gave her a nervous smile, Nygel by my side.

"Why didn't you inform us earlier?" She said with her hands on her waist.

"What is it going to be?" Greg's face was curious, maybe asking for the gender of the baby. Greg is Nygel's dad.

"Well we don't know yet...maybe at the sixth month." Nygel explained.

"Oh you better take care of that child, you punk...oh and also Azzy." Greg said with concern. Talking about characters here. Elizabeth and Greg are now opposites, boy this is going to be a long evening.

"So when is your due date?" Eli asked, short for Elizabeth.

"Maybe in July or August."

"By the way, why are you here?" Nygel asked shocked that his parents knew about my condition.

"Is that the way you talk to your parents?" Eli's eyebrow rose. "If Mrs. Johnson didn't call us, when do you plan on telling us that your wife is pregnant?"

"Calm down honey, that's not good for your heart." Greg hushed Eli from being too emotional.

"We were supposed to wait until at least the fifth month; we would like to surprise you." I giggled

"Hi Eli, hi Greg." Jeremy joined the group; we were talking about me being pregnant the whole night.

*Nygel*

After mom and dad left, Azzy and I are both exhausted! They were like more excited than we do. They give me head ache.

Azzy is now sleeping, she still looks like an angel, a little bigger than the first Azzy that I met. I went in to bed, beside Azzy and hugged her tightly.

It's still 9 in the morning; I already dropped Jeremy to his kindergarten school. Azzy left in the house keep on begging me to give her a job, we were arguing about it since we found out that she is pregnant, I keep on telling her no. She is so stubborn.

I went to the office checking on the things that I should do for today when I saw Azzy, I rolled my eyes.

"why are you here?" raising my eyebrow on her.

She smiled innocently, "Well I'm bored, and I want to eat something, garlic bread. Please make me one now, please." She's begging on me. Ever since I cooked, or put a bread in the oven spreading some garlic and butter on top of it, she is like a kid that keeps on asking 'garlic bread please' with her puppy eyes.

"You can ask someone in the house to make it for you, Why me?"

"Because I will only eat what you cook. And don't you want to cook for your baby? Geez you’re a hypocrite." She said then pouted her lips. She is acting like a kid.

"You're really going to use the baby to get what you want huh? Fine! But we don't have bread here in the office." I'm trying to find a way to get out of this situation, I mean what will say when they saw me making 'garlic bread'. I'm still worried about my reputation you know.

"Well you don't have to worry about that.." She went through her bag and pulled out a loaf of bread and handed it to me."Here it goes...go and make it for me, I'm hungry." I rolled my eyes at her again, Like this is the third time.

Minutes later, I'm finished. My employees are looking at me like I'm someone new here. Argh..I went to my office; there she was smiling while smelling the bread.

"Hmmmmmm Thank you so much!!" She grabs one, and ate it like it's the most delicious food in the world.

"Satisfied?" She just nodded, not even bothering to answer me properly.

Her phone rang, She looked at it. She's confused but still answered it.

"Hello?" she made a pause, and dropped her food.

"What do you want Jason!" She exclaimed.She put the phone on loud speakers. I heard their conversation.

"You are being too hard on me baby." I can hear him smirking.

"I have nothing else to do with you."

"Tsk tsk tsk, you’re wrong, baby, hahaha I do love to see your face right now, when you look like you’re in horror movie, it's priceless."

"Stop bothering them." I interfered.

"Ohh it's about time that the prince charming made his speech. Good thing that your there. Now I know I'm in loud speaker so I will let you talk to someone really important. hahaha" I heard his devil laugh

"Azzy help me!" Jeremy's voice was on the other line, Azzy was shocked and just burst into tears hearing her little brother's voice being in danger.

"Jeremy are you alright?.." before I finish my sentence Jason grabbed the phone back to him."Don't you dare touch him with your filthy hands you son of a b&^#$!"

"Woah watch your language prince. Oh Azzy don't cry, I can hear you back there honey."

"You bastard, what do you want." Azzy shouted, now people are looking to our direction.

"Now we’re talking, remember the thing that you owe me darling?" Azzy was quite and looked at me. "Yeah that one, you have to pay me for that. But now that you married a rich man...."

"Don't you dare drag Nygel into this bastard!"

"tsk tsk tsk, well for your information, it's too late! The second that he married you, he is so into this." He said.

"What do you want from us?"

*Azzy*

I saw Nygel's eyes being so serious when he was talking to Jason.

"Well prince, I want some of your maids...What do you think? Of course I want your money stupid." Jason said like a crazy man, well his crazy.

"How much do you need?" I looked at Nygel mouthing him 'no'.

"Well..hhmmmm let me think...ten,..oh no your richer than that..well fifty million dollars."

There were silence,. I sobbed being so helpless. My brother needs me.

"Where will I meet you.." Nygel said.

"Oh no no no.Your not going to meet me, Azzy will."

Nygel Punch the table that made me jump to my sit. "Don't bother dragging her into this you demon."

"Yeah right, I'm more comfortable seeing Azzy than you." The he hungs up.

Nygel and I kept silent for a minute. I broke the silence.

"I'm sorry Nygel. I didn't want you to be in this situation. I...I just.." I cried, he cradled me in his arms.

"shhhh don't worry. I'll take care of it."

"But the amount is too big."

"Don't worry about that, it's just money, you and Jeremy...and our baby is more important than money." He assured me.

All I could do is nod at him. We talked to the top agents of the police. They gave some plans and strategies.

"We have to be really, extra careful about this officer, my wife is pregnant." Nygel said to the officer.

"Yes sir, we will do everything that we can to make them safe."

the plan is, I'm going there alone, but there will be hit mans positioned in the location. When I get Jeremy, they will shoot Jason.

Nygel drove me to that location. I was about to go out of the car, When he pulled my hands and kissed me.

"Be careful" His eyes are worried.

"I will," I smiled at him. I was about to go out when a thought popped in my head. 'What if this is my last chance seeing Nygel? Knowing Jason he is a crazy man. He might hurt me or worst, God forbid, he will kill me. So before that happen, I should tell Nygel how I really feel about him. I have decided to confess, right now.

"Amm Nygel?" I faced him.

"Yeah?"

"Before I go in, I just want to confess something to you. I.." He puts his finger in my mouth.

"Whatever that is, you can say that after this situation." He said.

"But.."

"no buts, for once Azzy obey me." I felt his; lips went to mine. "Nothing will happen to you and Jeremy."

I smiled at him. My phone rang. It's Jason!

"Well, well , well What a nice view. I change my plan." I put him into speakers.

"What? Why?"

"Because you’re so stupid bringing the police here Azzy. Now both of you will come in."

I looked at Nygel. He's face was hard. And then he nodded.

"Ok whatever you want Jason."

We both went out of the car. He holds my hand while walking towards the abandoned building. When we went in, there were other men, like twenty of them. I looked around I saw Jeremy beside Jason. He's been tied up.

"What did you do to my brother you d**k head."

"Aren't you watching movies darling?" He smirked at me. "Check them out." He ordered the other men who have guns.

"Give us Jeremy, The money is here. You can have it first if you want." Nygel said.

"You’re very clever prince. First order your hitmen to retreat." Jason said.

Nygel hesitated but then called out the police to retreat.

"Then give me the money."

"Let's swap at the same time." Nygel made a deal with Jason.

The man who was Jeremy's other side grabbed him.

"Stay away prince, let Azzy bring in the money."

"What..." I pulled Nygel.

"It’s ok" I went in handing Jason the money, he released Jeremy...I hugged him tight. "Are you fine honey?"

We were about to walk away from Jason, when he grabbed my arm. I ordered Jeremy to run to Nygel.

"What are you doing Jason it hurts." He wrapped his arm around my head, his other hand putting a gun into my head.

"Hey we have a deal, Let her go you bastard." Nygel shouted as he wrapped Jeremy in his arms.

"Not that fast prince...She will be our ticket out!.."Jason throws a dirty look on me, and he licked my face making Nygel furious.

"Stop that, stay away from her." Nygel shouted.

"hahaha you don't like it prince? well let us escape!" Jason said, then looked at. "Woah honey you gained some weight there huh..." I bit my lip. Please don't make him realized that I'm pregnant. "well what do we have here honey....hahaha this is jackpot. So our little Azzy here is pregnant." He looked at Nygel making a gesture that he should obey Jason's order.

"Please don't hurt her, let her go the police are gone, I promise you." Nygel begged, he falls on his knees. I cried at this scenario. Nygel Is not like this. Jeremy is crying begging Jason to let me free.

Jason keeps on laughing as we make our way out of the building. The police stepped back when they saw me as a hostage.

"Yeah that's what I'm talking about, put your guns down." Jason released several gun shots that made jump in surprise.

We walked towards the car.

"Please Jason Let me go, I'm begging you." I tried to stay calm.

"Too late baby." He smirked.

"You have the money, what else do you want?"

He faced then he smiled, that evil smile.

"I want you!" He kissed me lustfully, I tried to avoid but he was too strong.

He was about to get me in to the car, when someone punched him in the head that made him dropped his gun. It was Nygel.

"Run." He said.

As soon as the police saw that I was not in Jason's hands anymore, they made gun shots against Jason.

I was running, I don't know where, I was thinking about Nygel. Someone grabbed me from behind, it was an officer.

"This way ma'am." He led me to a car with Jeremy who is crying hard. I hugged him.

"Stop it! Nygel is still there what are you doing?"

Nobody seems to be listening to me. I saw smoke, hearing gunshots from different directions. I soon passed out.

"Hello honey?" Nygel woke me up with a kiss in the forehead.

"Nygel? You’re safe?" My eyes wide open and hugged him tightly.

"Of course, what do you think I'd leave you?" He chuckled

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I'm still hugging him while crying in his arms.

"Hush baby...I will always be here for you."

"I'm sorry for all the things that I have done to you. Sorry for being mean...." I sobbed. I was so relief seeing him safe. "Are you alright?" I checked on his face, his just smiling, I went down to his body...I grasp my hand when I saw a hole on his heart. I cried.

"What's wrong honey?" He followed my gaze then he smiled. "Oh this? Don’t worry, this is nothing."

"W-what are you talking about? You...you're not.." I can't say it. I can't say that his dead.

He brushed my hair " Don't worry I'll be watching you always." He smiled while he touching my tummy. "Take care" He said...then he is slowly disappearing in the light.

"Nygel please don't leave, I haven't said that I love you so much please...I'm begging you.." He didn't listen, but kept on disappearing.

'tttoooooooooooooooooooooooootttt" I heard something so annoying. Then I heard Jeremy.

"Azzy please wake up.!" he's crying.

I tried to open my eyes, I failed, My head hurts. I heard other people in the room. Mother Rene was there, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, even Simon. I'm still finding the voice of Nygel...I heard nothing. Then I remembered my dream. I opened my eyes. I didn't notice that I was crying.

"Azzy thank God you’re awake." Mother Rene said.

"Where is Nygel?" Everybody went silent, I looked at Jeremy, and even a five year old kid with so much energy is silent.

I tried to get out of bed. "I want to see him, Where is he?" I demanded.

"Please honey, stay calm, your baby." Mrs. Johnson said, they were stopping me from getting out of bed.

"No! I want to see Nygel now!! Where is he?" I sobbed," Please I want to see him."

There were silence as I bury my face into my hands.

"Why is it so noisy? This is the hospital for Pete’s sake, I'm trying to get a rest here, I'm a patient too you know."

A familiar voice spoke. I looked up, they were smiling gazing at my back. I followed there gaze...and I saw....The most beautiful man I ever met...I sobbed again.

"What are you crying for? I thought you wanted to see me?" he said.

I got out of my bed. This time no one is stopping me. I ran into his bed..and hugged me tightly.

"Thank God you’re alive!!!" I continued crying

"Ow that hurts." Nygel said “I have an injury there. Oi don't forget the baby your crushing it." They all laughed.

I looked at him intently, praying that this is not a dream. I checked his heart, there's no hole. Thank God. I'm starting to cry again.

"Comon guys, let's leave the love birds, they need time." Eli said, she winked at me together with Greg. They are all here. I smiled at them.

There was silence in a couple of minute.

"aammmm aren't you going to kiss me?" He smirked at me, as I punched him teasingly. "OW! That hurts!"

"Oh I'm so sorry."

"Then give me a kiss." He demanded, and I gave in of course. "Before you went in there, you know what I mean. You said you have something to confess to Me.?" his eyes raised.

I blushed. "Well you stopped me so, I'm not going to say it to you...hmp"

"Oh com'on, I risked my life out there just to hear that confession, you know." I faced him, looking at his seriously. I felt tears in my eyes again.

"Ok fine..."

"What is it?" He said impatiently.

"iloveyou." I said very, very, very quickly.

"What? What was that?"

"If you didn't hear it, then I'm sorry." He didn't reply, then I faced him. He was in pain.

"Are you alright? What’s wrong? Wait hang in there I will call the doctor." I was about to call the doctor, when he pulled my hand. I was shocked the he was....smiling! This jerk made me worried and he was just smiling!

"I love you too." he said.

"What?" My jaw dropped. He actually understood me.

"Who's the deaf now?!" He said teasingly.

"You are such a jerk." Well I kissed him again. We were so into it, when Jason went in my mind.

"By the way, What happen to Jason?"

"You stopped because of him?" He rolled his eyes. "Well that jerk is a weakling; I'm too strong for him. I got him, and then just in time the police came and help."

"Thank God your alive."

"I won't leave you that easily, especially now that you said you love me, not a chance honey" He smiled at me.

I kissed him again thinking of the amazing things ahead, waiting for us.
