"NOW, THIS IS WEIRD....," Ellice muttered to herself.
The last thing she remembered is wearing that ruby-red dress and sipping that champagne from Boutary. And yet here she is, waking up in a not-so-glam hospital gown. And that is where she realized where she is. She's in a hospital! For crying out loud! Why is she in this place? Why does her abdomen hurt like hell? Like it was through a lot of spiteful things.
She looks around. Sunlight hurt her eyes. Like she was a vampire terrified at the sight of even a single ray. She doesn't like the place. It reminded her of something she can't even remember. Now that's odd.
Her eyes keep digging into the room. White curtains, white chair, white porcelain vases, and even a white sofa bed with white pillows! Everything is literary on white! Well, she hates THAT color, and guess what? She doesn't have any idea why!
She was about to close her eyes in dismay, when something---- someone, caught her eyes.
A man is sitting in a corner, looking at her intently, like he was about to cry, yet there is something in his eyes, something she has seen before. It is not only his eyes she knew, she knew this man. She doesn't know his name, or at least she can't remember, but she hates him. Something inside her wants this man to disappear out of her sight. Immediately. Forever.
The man is approaching her but came to a halt when she let out a hand, signaling him to stop. They stare at each other. He's confused... and a little afraid. He was about to mutter something when Ellice stopped him.
" Don't even think about it. I'm good. I mean, good good, that I am immediately brought here, but I am not good with the idea of you being here. Get out!"
" Hon, come on. I can explain."
Her jaw dropped. Did she hear it right? Did he just call her, "Hon"? The monstrosity!
" Look, mister. I do not know you. As a matter of fact, I hate you. Satisfied? Now, please just move along. I am not asking nor do I intend to hear any explanation from you. I DON'T CARE! That's just it. Just stay out of my sight and never ever come back. For good. Now get out before I call the police. Now!".
"I will. But..please..just hear me out. What transpired last night..."
" I said out! Or I will bury this needle in my neck".
