The days passed quickly, and the kingdom was abuzz with excitement as the preparations for Jabari’s coronation ceremony began. As the husband of Queen Ayanna, he had automatically became the king of the Northern empire, and the ceremony would formally crown him in his new role. The coronation ceremony was a grand affair, with dignitaries and guests from all over the empire in attendance, even those from Ifeoma. The kingdom's people had been preparing for weeks, decorating the streets and buildings with colorful flags and banners. On the day of the coronation, the kingdom was filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement. Their majesties, dressed in their finest royal attire, made their way to the grand hall where the ceremony would take place. As the advisor finished speaking, the kingdom's chief elder stepped forward, carrying a beautifully crafted crown. The crown was adorned with intricate designs and symbols of the kingdom's heritage, and it sparkled with precious stones, including pieces from the large blue diamond. The chief elder stepped forward, and Jabari knelt in front of him. The chief elder, in a loud voice, “Hear me, lords and ladies! Gather 'round for the coronation of our great king! With sacred oil and the power of the North, we anoint and crown thee, King Jabari. May the blood and the strength of the lion guide thee. May thy rule be marked by fire and blood, wisdom and justice. May his reign be long and prosperous. Long live the king!” “Long may he reign!” They all shouted. The chief elder placed the crown on his head, and the guests erupted in cheers and applause. The Queen smiled, her eyes shining with love and pride, as she placed a royal cloak around King Jabari shoulders. The ceremony continued with the presentation of the royal sword, a symbol of the king's power and authority. He accepted the sword, and the guests cheered and applauded once again. One of his advisers, Lord Thorold drew his sword and knelt before the king and swore an oath, “My sword is yours in victory and in defeat, from this day until my last day. I will shield your back and keep your counsel and give my life for yours if need be. I swear this by the old gods and the new.” The rest of the advisors and the new commander of the king’s guard together with the finest warriors of the king’s guard swore the same oath and their allegiance to the new king. He was also given the title ‘The Brave’. Lord Thorold continued with a chant for the new king, “All hail King Jabari The Brave, First of His Name, king of the Zuri Northern Empire, Lord of the two kingdoms, Ruler and protector of the realm, May his reign be long and prosperous! May his wisdom and bravery guide us, May his love for the queen and his people be boundless, May his kingdom flourish under his leadership, And may his name be remembered for generations to come! Hail King Jabari, our beloved king, May his reign be filled with joy, peace, and triumph, May his people love and respect him, And may his legacy be forever remembered!" They all knelt shouting, “All hail!” As the ceremony drew to a close, The King and Queen stood together, facing their people. They were showered with gifts and well-wishes, and the kingdom's people celebrated long into the night. The coronation ceremony was a grand success, and Jabari was formally crowned king of the Northern Empire. As the King and Queen stood on the balcony of the palace, looking out over the kingdoms, he turned to her and smiled. "I'm honored to be your husband and king," he said. "I promise to always protect and serve our kingdoms, and to love and cherish you." She smiled back, her eyes shining with love. "I'm also proud to be your wife and queen," she said. "Together, we'll build a brighter future for our kingdoms and our people." “And I shall give you an heir.” She said laughing. The kingdom's people cheered and celebrated throughout the night. The days that followed were filled with celebrations and festivities, as the kingdom's people welcomed their new king with open arms. Queen Ayanna and King Jabari traveled throughout the kingdom, meeting with their people and listening to their concerns. As they traveled, they were met with cheers and applause, and the kingdom's people showered them with gifts and well-wishes. They were overjoyed, and they knew that their love and commitment to each other had brought them to this moment. The coronation ceremony was a turning point in the kingdom's history, marking the beginning of a new era of peace and prosperity. The King, Jabari was determined to build a brighter future for his kingdom and his subjects.
