VERGIL:
Once Lily is asleep, I slip out of the room, finding my way to Byron.
“You said Megan has spoken to Aria?” I question as we walk downstairs.
“Yes, and she should be here in a…” We open the door to the throne room to see Megan seated.
“Vergil,” she calls out, getting to her feet. “I have been waiting for a while, but you were busy with my sister,” she says, causing my face to heat up in embarrassment.
I clear my throat, walking towards her.
“I do not want talk but actions. No delays. What do we know about Mathew?”
“He is Aria’s mate. Elena is pregnant with a Gamma, and we can practically use it against them.”
I tap my foot for a while.
“If Elena knows her plan is falling apart, she will go after Aria like they did with Chloe. Where is she?”
“Witness protection,” Megan answ
