The last thing that I expected to hear was that she had a hand in her mother's death, even if all this while I thought Barbara was a snake, I did not assume that she was a killer.
It means that she was no different from Sylvia and Fenris. I am certain those two have been killed in the past, which is why plotting my death wasn't a difficult task for them.
It was like playing with a kids' toy, and they did it without blinking an eye.
I guess that was what gave Barbara the leverage all the time that she didn't even care if the Lycan King was there, and she would just threaten me.
Whatever it was that was giving her power, it was certainly because she had done it before, and so doing it again wouldn't be a problem.
