Levi's POV
After the incident at the pack house, I had to hurry back to the house. I know that Alpha Diane will still be there.
I had left her there this morning, and I doubt she was going to work. I needed to sort things out with her.
I needed her to be on the same page with me. I know that refusing to have dinner with her last night wasn't fair to her at all.
She was only trying, besides that was all I've ever wanted, but when it came to me, I pushed it aside.
I was angry because she thought I was being unjust to her kind and perhaps, if that girl in the forest that day did not tell me to equally investigate my Pack. I think I would have just centered all my investigations on the werewolves.
I tried to be unfair but I equally wanted her not to spill it out especially
