I understand her, and I don't blame her for asking. I would have asked the question if something like that had happened to me. Barbara was on one hand trying to ruin our plans, and she needed to make sure that I was still on the same page with her. I have nothing else to lose, if I am going to die, let me die trying to help her claim everything that she has lost. I don't care about Barbara, about anyone else. I only care about her. She was someone that I wanted to help, I am willing to follow her down on this journey, I'm going to cross the road when she tells me to.
