When I walked into the company, many people looked at me. They must be surprised at how quickly I took over. It was only a few days ago that it was announced Diane had passed away. They must have expected her Beta to ascend the throne since we were not legally married, but they were mistaken. I was the love of her life, and she believed I would be there every step of the way. She was foolish to give me everything and then sign a deal with the rogue pack. Sometimes, I wonder what kind of Alpha she would have become if she were still alive. She didn't have what it took to lead the people, run the company, and take it to the next level. She always grew weak whenever there was a problem.
