Diane's POV
I pushed her out of the way and walked out. Lycan Levi followed behind me; I could see he was both impressed and pleased with my actions. When I said I wouldn't allow them to trample over me again, I meant every word. I didn't understand what her problem was. I hadn't forced Levi's hand. He had every right to make his own decisions, and I wouldn't stop him even if he chose to kick me out of his house tomorrow. I would leave gracefully. If he decided to withdraw his promise to help me reclaim what was stolen from me, I wouldn't hold it against him. However, I would much rather he stayed by my side, honoring his word until the very end.
