I was surprised to see Alpha Diane behind me. Grandmother had warned me that she doesn't want me going around causing trouble for her, and if I even think of trying to ruin her relationship with my brother, she was going to kick me out. She would make sure Lycan Levi would never send money to me, for the first time in my life I did not think she would take anyone's side other than me, but she did and that broke my heart.
