I studied the lines on her face, I was surprised she did not know what it meant to be marked. I knew this one when I was ten, my father had taught me.
He has always made me realize that rogues are never to be trusted, which is why when Fenris turned out to be my first mate, he was against it, he knew he would be no different from the rest of them.
Nevertheless, I did not listen, and I let myself be blinded by some foolish love that let me down to the part of the dark.
I almost lost myself, and now my pack members have to pay for it. I bet most of them would be cursing me in their heart and mind, they would say that the Alpha let them down, and had run away to go save herself.
