When I woke up the next day, the first thing that my eyes laid on was the clock. 6:30 in the morning. Right on time. Just when I planned to get out of bed, Jonathan pulled me closer towards him with a groan. As much as I wanted to relish the coziness and warmth in his arms, I still had to get up so we could at least have some breakfast before leaving for work. “It’s still early in the morning,” he commented with a sleepy and rough voice. “Why are you in a hurry to get up?” I looked up to him and replied, “I’m going to cook breakfast.” “Later.” As we stayed in his bed with his arms wrapped around me as if we were a couple, it made me realize that our relationship was in a total blur. I could convince myself that he was just my employer, but no employee sleeps with her boss like this
