NIKOLAI’S POV
“Take care of the body,” I instructed Sia after beating the s**t out of our target.
“H-He’s dead,” she commented after checking the guy’s pulse.
“Obviously. Dispose of him for me. I’ll see you later,” I said before strutting away from the dark alley.
Wiping off the bloodstain off of my hands, I immediately got in my car and drove to the greenhouse where Max spends most of his time.
“I came to report,” I told him upon sitting across from him.
“Didn’t I specifically tell you to bring the target here?” he unnecessarily complained.
“He refused to come willingly so I had to wring out the information from him by force,” I replied.
He shook his head to show his disappointment, which was not really my problem since I completed the mission.
