White House Presidential Emergency Operation Center. As Michael entered the room, he was greeted by a lot of mounted televisions and general staff working left and right, they soon stopped the moment they saw Michael enter the operation center. “Sir!” They said and saluted in Unison. “At ease,” Michael said, making the staff continue on their work. Behind Michael was a confused and nervous Anna whose hands were tucked in his sleeves. It was understandable since this was her first time seeing a lot of people packed inside the room wearing unusual clothing and 1960s computer hardware inside the building mysterious to her. From the best of her memory, she is certain that there is no building as grand as this built-in the Willow Town, but her bewilderment stopped as Michael explained to him how this building was built. Of course, it was a lie. One person walked forward to Michael with a salute, base on her appearance, it was Enterprise. “Enterprise what’s the status?” “Our Riverwater Fleet is in their position and will soon open fire with your orders.” “What is the composition of the ships?” Enterprise beckoned him to come along with her to the table where a map was laid out. Pointing her finger to the map, Enterprise began explaining the operation. “They are eight battleships in total, USS Iowa Class Battleships, IJN Yamato Class Battleships, KMS Bismarck Class Battleships, IJN Nagato Class Battleships, HMS Queen Elizabeth, USS North Carolina Battleships, RN Littorio Class Battleships, and FFNF Jean Bart Battleships. Together they will conduct their first salvo. This will be a joint operation of the Navy and the Air Force. And once the salvo is completed the Air Force will conduct their bombardment.” “Hmm, seems like a viable plan, remember, use any means necessary to annihilate those monsters and level me up. 20,000 monsters have risen my level to 30, I don’t know how many levels I will jump when we defeat 100,000 monsters in their breeding grounds.” “Yes sir!” They shouted in unison. “Okay, seems like I’ve been debriefed clearly, Raphael, coordinate with Enterprise at this operation.” Raphael firmly stood and valiantly replied “Yes.” “I don’t need to be here because I trust in your capabilities as a commander. Monsters are 30 kilometers away from the Capital.” “Sir, may I ask where are you going?” Raphael seems to have noticed his intention. “I’ll be leaving the Capital and go experience the foreign towns myself.” “But sir it’s dangerous...and I will never permit that, as your second-in-command…” “Hoh? Are you stopping me, Raphael?” Michael had enough of this charade, this superior and subordinates relationship. Michael walked menacingly to Raphael. “It seems like you all don’t know me in the previous world. Well, it can’t be helped I’ll introduce myself to you.” Michael cleared his throat and stood firmly, looking strong and valiant. “My name is Michael Stevens, I’m a former Navy Seals, Black Ops, and Special Forces. In regards to battle experience, I’m the most experienced here. You are just a rookie to my eyes and are yet to prove your worth to me.” He glared at Raphael, “Don’t ever think of controlling me because trust me you won't be able to. You’re my second-in-command because the system said so but If I only had a chance, I will never choose you in the first place.” Michael said truthfully. The atmosphere in the room turned heavy as the sound silenced. Michael who is just one foot close to Raphael saw her countenance. “A tears?” He noticed the forming tears in her eyes after she heard the truth, so she was insignificant to him in the first place. “Weak, how can my second-in-command be emotional when receiving negative remarks? Are you really that capable?” -Whoosh. A slap was fired from Raphael but Michael stopped it with his hand. Michael glared again coldly. “Resorting to violence?” Michael lifted up her chin and looked to her face, “Crying won’t give you my sympathy but I’m a good person so I’ll give you a chance to prove yourself worthy of my second-in-command. You’ll be in charge in this operation, command the Navy and the Air Force and formulate battle plans to deal with those filthy monsters. If you do then you’ll retain your position as my second-in-command but if you don’t I’ll fire you. Easy right?” Raphael has been quiet for so long and wasn't able to talk back. Michael glanced over and saw his general staff who were also silent. “Are we in the prayer meeting? Go and continue your work.” Then began hustling. “Anna, I’ll leave you with two guards to escort you where you’ll be debriefed in your work. Listen to every word they say. And Enterprise, I’ll leave Raphael in your care.” “Yes, General.” Enterprise saluted. Seeing that, Michael decided to leave the P.E.O.C without turning his back to Raphael. … Just outside the White House, the CH-47 Chinook is waiting for him. The two pilots of the CH-47 Chinook are standing on each side of the door while saluting. “At ease soldiers, so I’ll about to debrief you with our clandestine operation.” “Yes sir.” Glancing over the two, Michael started speaking. “We will only conduct reconnaissance around the area, specifically near the City of Maltrom, we’ll fly high so that the noise of the rotor won’t be heard. We’ll leave at five minutes which is…” Michael looked at his watch strapped in his wrist, “2350 HRS.” Then thunderous explosions can be heard from the north enough that everyone around him reflexively looked. “It appears that the operation has started…” Michael muttered to himself, “Good, let’s leave.” Entering the Chinook, the pilot started the pre-flight sequence, and moments later, the two Lycoming T55 turboshaft engines growled loudly. As the plane takes off, Michael finds a box full of weapons and is equipped himself if something happens. Thirty minutes later, 10,000 ft in the air cruising at 200 kilometers per hour, Michael peeked at the window and saw a faint light below. “Okay bring the copter a little bit so I can have a better look.” The pilot of the CH-47 Chinook adjusted the collective pitch control, letting the helicopter rotor to change their angle of attack equally, resulting in decreased lift force, making the helicopter go down. “Okay, enough….” Just as he was about to signal to his pilot to stop descending, something unexpected happened. “Sir engine two is down, it looks like we hit something in the air.” The pilot reported that situation as he tries to maintain control of the cyclic pitch. “What? What did we hit from this height?” Michael frantically asked, what could be possibly hitting them in this height especially in winter? “We don’t know sir but it’s best for you to strap yourselves and prepare for impact.” Michael hurriedly strapped himself in his seat while the other two is arguing noisily. “Mayday mayday, this is Air Force One, we are going down I repeat we are going down!... s**t, the comms are out.” “Then f*cking open the reserve comms.” “I can’t!” “Sir, comms are down! We got no radio contact from either of the bases!” “Sh*t the NAVBALL is disorienting” “Put pressures on the pedals!” “The pedals are wobbling! I can’t put any pressure!” “What the heck?!” Continues alarm and alert rings inside the helicopter as the navigation ball displays a rapid altitude decline spin. “Brace for impact! Brace for impact!” Shouted the pilot and then splashed. The CH-47 Chinook crashed on a lake. The two pilots ejected from their seats as the force of the water strikes both of them. While Michael is trying to escape inside the helicopter but he’s stuck on his seatbelt. He tried to escape but to no avail. Unbeknownst to him, his seatbelt is stuck between rocks and corals that’s why he can’t escape. Soon, he feels his consciousness is fading as water rushes inside him. He’s been underwater for about two minutes and he is reaching his limit. Then as soon as his eyes were about to close, he saw two pilots coming in to rescue him. 0100 HRS. At an unknown lake near the City of Maltrom. “Sir! Wake up, sir!” Michael hears a voice reverberating inside his head. Michael then quickly opened his eyes and gasped loudly as he coughs water. “Thank god you’re alive sir!” said the pilot. “Good thing we managed to escape you down there!” said the co-pilot. Michael then took a glance over the lake. He saw the rapidly sinking CH-47 Chinook with a broken rotor and dismembered cockpit. Panting, Michael asked the pilot. “You guys contacted our guys yet?” “Negative sir. We have no radio comms on our side now.” “But we still had our guns!” Said the co-pilot showing him the M1911 pistol. “Keep your guns safe. You had any mags?” “No sir, I only got one, that’s in the gun,” said the Co-pilot. “Same for me sir.” said the pilot. “Alright, this is an easy situation, I’m going to spawn some mags for you guys and I’ll contact Command while on it.” But then, just before Michael could use his hud systems, a group of knights shouted at them. “Don’t move!” The two pilots then placed their main hand onto their holstered pistol, ready to take a shoot. “Wait wait wait don’t move!” Michael shouted with his arms in the air. “We surrender! We surrender!” “But sir…” whispered the pilot. “Shh...Don’t fight! They outnumbered us. Just follow me. I’m gonna think of a plan, so hang tight.” Even though there is a language barrier, Michael displayed a move that can be considered as surrendering by just raising their hands. Then a fancy-looking knight came. “Hmm, I’ve never seen such outfits before. Who are you?” But Michael nor the two soldiers understand the words he said. “I’m asking who you are!” Then the knights prompted and pulled out their swords and aimed at them. It escalated quickly and Michael began patting his body and pulled out a pocketbook filled with phrases of this world language. He opened the book without agitating the knights by doing slowly. “I’m Michael and this is my friends, Talon and Tarone...we are from far far far away.” Michael said while expressing hand and body movements. “A foreigner huh? Search them, they may be a spy from another country.” The knights behind him moved forwards and started patting their bodies. The knights confiscated his pocketbook while the others find something on Talon. “What’s this?” A knight then grabbed an unknown hard object by the waist of Michael. The knight then proceeds to check and grabs the object. “Sir I found an unknown object resting inside that person Michael! It looks like a weapon.” Other knights then checked the two pilots and found the same object. “I knew it! You guys are spies! You three are gonna come with me!” The knights then marched the three personnel. “s**t we’re f****d…” Talon whispered. “I know…” Tarone whispered. But Michael bows his head. The darkness of the night covers his face, and when a gust of wind passes them, his face reveals a scary grin.
