“Ma’am, we got transmission coming over from the city.”
One of the special forces reported to Raphael after hearing a transmission on his radio.
“That’s definitely them.”
Raphael snatched the radio of the Special Forces and moved it close to her mouth.
“Sir, Are you okay? This is Eagle 2, we’re here to rescue you, sir.”
Static noise.
“Raphael? I see, thank you for coming here to extract us, I have the two Chinook pilots and are waiting for extraction. But I don’t have any map on me so it’s kind of hard to plan…”
Hearing the problem. Raphael immediately changed her radio transmission to the Command.
“Command, this is Eagle 2, we need aerial surveillance at 290 mikes bearing 95 degrees north of your location.”
Static noise…
“Copy that Eagle 2, there’s an SR-71 Spyplane on its flying routine heading to you in ten minutes for aerial coverage.”
“Copy that Command, Eagle 2 out.”
…
While waiting for the SR-71 Blackbird to set overwatch above the airspace of the city. Michael checked the situation of the seven young girls who seem to be s*x slaves.
Talon used a flashlight and aimed it at their eyes to check if there’s some response while Tarone comforted them by showing that they are not hostile.
Minutes later, Talon walked forward to Michael who checked the condition of the seven girls reported.
“Sir, I’m no doctor but I believe that they’ve been traumatized...They are bruised all over their arms and legs and also looked malnourished. We need them to give them some medical attention ASAP.”
“I see.” Michael nodded. “Don’t worry, I’ll take them with me...the more they are the more information about this world will be acquired. We just have to wait for the Blackbird to give us aerial reconnaissance.” Michael concluded.
Talon saluted and turned back again to the seven girls to observe their condition.
Ten minutes later…
“Sir the Blackbird has arrived in the vicinity of the city. Setting up a communication line....now.”
“Avion 0-2, this is Eagle 2, requesting reconnaissance and overwatch over the city, over.”
“Eagle 2 this is Avion 0-2 I copy, setting up reconnaissance and overwatch on the city over.” The pilot of the Blackbird replied.
Then the Blackbird began taking multiple pictures of the city and the co-pilot compiled it and began relaying the interior design of the city.
“Avion 0-2 this is Eagle 2, I’ve received all necessary information, thanks for the coverage, now assist us in getting Eagle 1 over.”
“Copy that Eagle 2.”
Raphael changed the communication channel.
“Eagle 1, Eagle 1, this is Eagle 2. We’ve received the schematics of the city and we will get you out of there soon.”
“Copy that Eagle 2, where’s the exfil point?”
“...”
“The exfil point is 750 meters out of the south gate of the city. If you have a north window, you will have a view of the south gate there. Once you get out of that city, we will take care of the guards.”
“...”
Michael looked to the north window and saw the south gate, dropping his view were a crowd of people walking on the street.
“No...that’s impossible Eagle 2, the street is crowded, we can’t get out of here in our current situation.”
“Current situation?” Eagle 2 asked.
“Yes...the thing is we have eight unknowns that will go along with us. They hold valuable information and I want them to get them out of here.”
“Ahh...copy that Eagle 1, formulating a new plan…”
“No need, we don’t have much time. We killed a lot of guards inside of this building and it’s only a matter of time before someone gets suspicious. Get a fighter jet over our location and bomb the city.”
His words made the world silent.
“I’m sorry Eagle 1 but did you just say ‘bomb the city’.”
“No no no...what I meant is to create a diversion for us to get out of here.”
Explaining what he meant clearly, Raphael understood it.
“Ah, copy that Eagle 1, contacting Command for air support.”
…
“Command this is Eagle 2 requesting air support over our location. Send anything you got.”
“Copy that Eagle 2, sending two F-4 phantoms over your location.”
…
Receiving an order from the Command, the pilots of F-4 phantoms scrambled in the airbase, rushing to their F-4 phantom and mounting it.
They immediately took off the moment they were cleared by the air traffic control tower.
“Eagle 1 this is Eagle 2, two F-4 Phantom are heading in this location in five minutes. Please get out of there the moment the bomb dropped.”
“Copy that Eagle 2 please clear any obstructions that we will face in the south gate and continue to coordinate with the Blackbird.”
“Copy that Eagle 1.”

Finishing their conversation, Raphael turned around and looked over the special forces anticipating some actions.
“Okay, this is our time to move.”
“Oorah!”
Raphael and the special forces head to the location where they can observe the situation of the south gate where Michael and the others will go out.
Five minutes later, they hide behind the three. Using binoculars to observe the knights guarding the south gate. One of them is sleeping while the others are chit-chatting atop of the battlement.
“Incoming transmission, ma’am.” Alpha leader gives the radio over to Raphael.
“Eagle 2 this is Blue Viking 1-2, we are in the location requesting drop coordinates over.”
“Okay wait…”
Changing transmission.
“Avion 0-2, this is Eagle 2 link-up the coordinates of the north gate over Blue Viking 1-2, over.”
“Copy that Eagle 2, starting uplink.”
…
“Coordinates received standing by for clearance.”
“No civilians over the north gate.” Avion 0-2 added.
“Thanks, Avion 0-2...Blue Viking 1-2 this is Eagle 2, you’re cleared hot, the target is 250 meters away from the north gate.”
“Roger Eagle 2, target acquired. Weapons free in five seconds.”
“Thunder and lightning in five seconds, heads up.”
And at that moment, the deafening noise of General Electric J79 can be heard above the sky.
The people there who were just going on with their daily lives were disturbed by the noise and started looking up.
Soon, they saw two mysterious creatures above cruising at high speed, and then, an explosion occurred over the north gate.
Soon the crowds fell into panic and rushed inside their homes while the guards from all over the gate scrambled as soon as they heard the explosion.
The explosion can be heard from all over the city enough to make those who are asleep wake up.
As the Mark-82 unguided bombs were dropped, the knights guarding the south gate immediately headed towards the north gate.
Seeing that they began to move, Raphael relayed the information to Michael.
“Roger Eagle 2, we’ve also heard the explosion from our location. Leaving the building now.”
Michael left the room along with the others. Tarone was positioned in the rear while Talon and Michael were positioned in the front. Heading downstairs, they heard a rustling noise over and Michael immediately rose his hands, halting their movements.
He began to peek over the wall and saw five knights looking down on the corpses of the knights while prisoners who they just knocked out are frantically speaking to one knight, probably telling them about what happened here.
Now that they know what just happened here, the five knights walked towards where they are hiding.
Michael waited for one knight to come—arriving, he immediately grabbed his arms, disarming his sword and Michael aimed the pistol point blank and fired it.
Talon helped Michael as he unleashed the power of the Thompson Machine Gun at the four knights.
Their bodies turned into honeycombs as blood gushed out from the holes.
“Clear!.”
They left the building and headed towards the south gate where the exfil points are. Since the guards of the south gate left their position to respond to the explosion on the north gate. They were able to leave the city unnoticed.
“Heads up! I’ve got nine figures coming out from the south gate.” Beta squad leader reported.
“That must be Eagle 1. Go and help them.” Charlie's squad leader ordered his squad to help Eagle 1.
Seeing someone approaching them from the treeline, Michael raised his Colt pistol but as soon as he got a closer look at their figures. He immediately holstered it.
“Glad to have you back sir!” One of the special forces welcomed him as the rest helped the seven young girls and grabbed the cuffed and gagged knight.
“Thank you...the diversion went well...okay when our exfil is going to come.”
“Ma’am Raphael has already been in talks with the Command about that. She said they’ll arrive in fifteen minutes.”
“I see. Where is she?”
Noticing that she wasn’t here. Michael asked the soldier.
“She’s there sir.” He pointed and Michael quickly moved to that location.
There he saw Raphael on her radio.
“Raphael.” He called, startling her abruptly.
“Uhm...Sir...good to have you back sir—”
Before she knew it, Michael was already closed to her, his both hands laid on her shoulder.
“You...you’re my second in command, a highest-ranking officer second to me...what are you doing here?”
“Huh? Isn’t that obvious? To save you of course…”
“I know but didn’t I just give you an order to coordinate with Enterprise about the operation? Also, the special forces here are enough, you don’t need to be here.”
Raphael gritted her teeth hearing that. She comes here to save him and yet why is he chiding her?
Then she started hitting him in his chest repeatedly as if venting out her anger.
“Sir...why are you always like that to me? You’re always looking down on me? I am a soldier too, I can fight and know how to fire guns but the way you looked at me is too much for me…If you don’t want me that badly then I’ll personally resign as your second-in-command…”
She immediately pulled out her pistol and aimed her pistol at her chin—. Michael snatched the pistol away from her after seeing her sudden action.
Is she going to suicide?
“Oi...what the heck was that? Are you trying to kill yourself here?!” Michael shouted.
The special forces around them were concerned about this quarrel.
“Michael, you never once understood my position ever since I was summoned in this world! The only sole purpose of my life here is to serve and be of use to you but when I noticed that you’re uncomfortable with me I started to question my existence...if I can no longer be of use to you then what’s my purpose in this life? If I can’t serve you then what will happen to me? If you see me as trouble then I will gladly just end my life so that you’ll be happy—.”
“You stupid!” He pushed her back to the tree and slapped the tree behind her, cornering her.
“It’s not what you think! How can I become happy when I see you kill yourself in front of me...I was just uncomfortable because I was not accustomed to this position. I wanted to be alone and be on the field but can’t do so because I have to manage everything from the departmental issues and stocking up munitions and supplies. Okay. I’m sorry for being a piece of s**t to you, I was just you know...I can’t even understand why I’m acting like this.”
Michael released all the frustrations he had inside. Then as he was about to continue speaking, the engines of the CH-47 Chinook roared above.
“Okay...we’ll continue this. Come with me.” He grabbed her arm, “I can’t have you dying on me. The rest of you pack up, we’re leaving here.”
