Chapter three: The man

Alex heard the deep voice behind them and made a turn, “wow, the voice looks just like it’s owner, before her was her dream man… tall, broad chest (description of a hot guy)… she suddenly snapped out of her trance and with a serious face, “so you are the boss, who hasn’t taught your workers how to behave in public, you look too handsome for bad etiquette.

“Jay didn’t even spare her a glance, he walks close to the food vendor, yunno I live close by and I’ll be staying here for a long time. Am not the type to eat everywhere so your actions will determine if you keep a consistent and longtime customer today or if you’ll lose it to a pennyless noisemaker like this one behind me. Fuego get the food and get me outta here. Fuego and the vendor replied with a yes almost the same time. Jay turned and walk past Alex giving her “ yunno money rules the world kinda stare. Alex couldn’t believe her eyes, “gosh… this world is f****d up with mad people inside excluding myself,she muttered under her breath. “I heard that, you dummy! Jay said back to her before getting out of the restaurant and making way to his car.

Jay boiled with anger inside his car, he couldn’t believe he was just insulted by a lady… “ohhh how he wish he could teach her some damn lessons to keep her mouth zipped up. Well, guess today was her lucky day, she would have to thank her stars…he muttered.

Alex got back to the hotel after everything, she met with the receptionist, got her key and went for her bags. “do I have some change left, “no, you don’t ma’am and thank you for choosing us, you are always welcome anytime… “yea, thank you too for your hospitality, I enjoyed my stay. Alex got to the road, boarded a cab to her new place.

“she got off the cab and made way to her house, damn this place is quiet but guess its for the better though… who the hell lives in that mansion? Such a fine mansion in this area but its good though, atleast I got myself some neighbor… she made her way inside her new apartment, unpacked her luggage.

Alex woke up feeling so tired from day before stress, “God, she needed all the rest in the world but she has to get up and get her house set… first, she will go get herself some kitchen utensils, groceries and drinks…yes she had to get herself enough alcohol to last her through the terrible nightmares. She got dressed, carry her bag and was off. Alex was just about crossing when a car came with speed and almost crushed her down… “what!!! Is the driver blind, stupid, drunk or daft she thought.

“oh my! Am so sorry dear please we are actually in a hurry somewhere, I didn’t see someone was crossing. Fuego said.

“that voice… it sounds familiar, Alex made a turn and was shocked to see the man at the restaurant the other day… ohhhyou again, what sort of evil spirit are you cos you seems to be everywhere and the only thing you are good at is causing havoc… you didn’t see someone was crossing, seriously! Ohh, just call me an ant then since am too small for your blind eyes to see. Alex spat angrily

“I don’t know if someone has ever told you, you are too loud and childish for your age cos wtf! You make a case out of every little thing. Fuego, this should be the last time you let this busybody take my time cos she isn’t worth any second of it. Miss busybody if you are that pained, you can use this for the shock… Jay threw some cash at her and made for his car ordering Fuego to do same.

The duo entered the car and zoomed off, Alex couldn’t believe her eyes “that arrogant nuts just fling some cash to her face without a proper apology, who the hell does he think he is… Alex left angrily to the store. “she got back from the store and seemed so tired, she reminisce on the morning event and couldn’t help but wonder what brought them there… ohh that road leads to the beautiful mansion, could it be that piece of s**t is my neighbor? Well, there is only one way to find out.

The door bell rings’ “Fuego please check who is at the door,

“God, what the f**k is this mad woman doing here? Fuego said with shock on his face, Jay stood up and walks to the door.

“let her in, maybe she’s come to right her wrongs.

The door knobs clicks and the door opens, Alex isn’t shocked cos just like she expected they were truly her neighbors… “can I come in?

“sure… Fuego makes way for her to walk in, Alex comes in with a box of cake and drops the cake on the table.

“I know our meeting has been one hell but I came to greet my neighbor cos I just packed in and it turns out you are my neighbors, guess it’s really a small world then. So just have this cake while hoping for a good neighborhood together.

“you can leave It there and leave, Jay says while focusing on his phone.

“damn you are so rude for a human, Alex muttered under her breath.

Alex enters her apartment, “now it’s confirmed they are my neighbors, I need a way to teach that crazy rat some manners…

Alex knocks on Jay’s door again and Fuego comes for the door… “please can I see your boss?

“ok, sit and hold on while I get him for you..

“ok, thank you very much, I’ll be waiting.

Jay walks in looking grumpy, “don’t you have things to do at your place, looks like you have enough time to wander around people’s houses

“I actually have enough time to teach some mannerless citizens manners, that way you can say it’s my little way of helping shape the society… Alex reach out to her pocket, brought out the cash Jay threw on her earlier and threw it hard to his face.Next time if you wronged a lady or anyone, instead of displaying your foolishness in all your cards, you should think of a way to apologize first. If you didn’t get manners from your parents then you should have read it online, I mean it’s everywhere on the net, just browse for the good manners and you’ll get it, goodnight. She stormed out of the house feeling happy and fulfilled, leaving shocked Jay in confusion and awe.

“get me every details on that lady, Jay said to Fuego angrily.

Jay got to his room fuming with anger, “he has met and dealt with girls but none of them has ever gotten to him like this one. She is stubborn, resilient and very intentional. He needs to put her in her place and he needs to do it fast. He won’t let such insignificant figure take his peace of night. She wasn’t the reason he came here but he’ll teach her a lesson before beginning what brought him here. He brought out his phone. “God he needed a good s*x to get his mind off that crazy b***h, “hey, wanna hang out tonight.

Ray pulls up at Jay’s door and together they got downtown for a heated night.

Jay and Ray pulls up at the popular club in the city, got inside and everywhere was booming with music. A curvy blonde lady walks up to them “you look unhappy nigga, let me restore back your happiness, the blonde told Jay while moving her hands seductively around his boobs and then moves down to his trousers, resting her hands on his d**k.

“ohh f**k, Jay muttered, let’s get it down inside b***h”

Jay made way into the crowd heading inside the club with the blonde behind.

“guess am the one left out rn, make sure you are out on time so I can atleast get a good morning sleep, Ray called out behind Jay while sitting at the counter…

Ray drops Jay at a path leading to Jay’s house, “I tried for you last night nigga while you were screwing that hoe, am damn tired right now, so do me the honours of walking down to your house cos a nigga got take some rest.

Jay got close to his compound but someone was in front of his door, “I just hope it isn’t that b***h again, he thought.
