The Special Ones

Chapter 7

                                                                                ALDREN

I saw the fire dragon at the side mirror of my car, the three cars that followed me were still not tired of chasing me. I would have stopped but, the back of my car was hit, it turned around and I immediately got out of the car

"You guys are really annoying." I let out a lightning in both my hands and threw it at them, They all rushed at me and I switched to my earth style power and one by one they pierced the thorny rocks that came from the ground and immediately saw that they were gradually turning into ashes by the time they’re stabbed.

"They’re ash users like those people while ago." without any second thought I released some water and it swept their ashes on the ground away. Finally, I can breathe for a while, I decided to go back to the car and go to where I dropped Tyson.

"Why’s full of water here?" as I arrived and my shoes where soaked by water, luckily the street is empty, with no people around that can witness everything has happened, except for the cameras.

"Full of water?!" I saw Tyson walking towards me mad, soaking wet and his hair is also dripping wet by how he looks. I looked at him giving him with confused look as a response on his mad face that his giving me. "I almost died earlier when you kicked me out of the car!"

“Are you okay? turns out your opponent is a water user." I gave him a smile, he stare at me blankly

"Is it obvious?" he said and I let out an awkward laugh, I’m so dumb I can even see that there’s a lot of water here on the road that is slowly draining. "I almost died earlier, luckily I mastered my fire dragon"

"I saw your dragon, its badass" he looked into my eyes, it feels like he has some questions about what happened. "you have questions? "

"How did you become a rainbow user?" that was unexpected, I was expecting that he would ask why those guys are chasing us to death, or something but his question was about me. “Do you have to do something to have those?-“

“It’s a long and complicated story, Tyson” he raised his left eyebrow, I know he doesn’t believe at me by that gesture But his a bit too young to know why I have these eyes

“If you are a rainbow user, is your sister Amanda also-"

"No" I cut him off immediately, i turned around and faced him, his eyes were red which symbolizes fire, staring at me waiting for my answer.

"Amanda has no power, there's a possibility of not having powers in one of the siblings. She doesn’t know about anything, about what I have, our family and especially you that you have those abilities.” I sighed

“Did you have any plans to tell her?” he asked “I mean she’s your sister, she deserves to know”

“Sometimes, you don't have to tell the truth in order to keep them safe. Even that if you are away from them, you know that they’re safe.” I said “That she’s safe” his eyes were back to normal, I opened the driver’s car door and sat, I saw him still standing and still wet and soaked but not much.

“I know you have a sister too, elder sister" I said smiling at him "I've seen her, he's also naughty like you, a bit talky she was able to control fire"

"She is strong, she also knows how to use fire. But me, I can't even control the way how she controls the-wait, how do you know-"

“I think you will surpass your sister” I immediately cut him off to avoid questions from him again, I saw him smiling and scoffed at me saying those at him, making me also smile.

“Come on now let’s go, its already 1am in the morning. We took a lot of time fighting those guys” i started the engine and drove off

“yeah but, how about those camera’s?” Tyson pointed outside the windows and I looked around at the streets and saw some camera’s as we passed by, I sighed and grabbed my phone in the pocket and dialed mom’s number

"Hello mom?" Where are you? We've been worried for hours

“I know mom, I’m sorry. Can you give the phone to lance please?” Okay- Hello?

“Lance, im gonna send you a message please move it right away okay? I’ll explain when we get home” Hello? Aldren, make sure you are coming home, your sister is worried too you know?

"Mom, we're going home now. Don't worry" I turned off the phone and goes back to driving

"Is the party over?" Tyson asked “How can we go back; we don’t have the beer”

“Seriously? Forget the beer” I laughed a little "Not mentioned, but I think it's over, it's a pity I didn't dance with my sister."

"I thought you two already danced-"

"You were the first, to dance with her" I said “I think you too would end up together" I joked to Tyson

"Huh? what did you say?"

"Gosh, you're still stuttering. It doesn’t look good on you" I looked in the side mirror and there was a car that had been following us for a while "Those cars, they’re following us for a while now"

"Which one?" Tyson looked in the other side mirror "Maybe just our neighbor"

"I just rested for a bit and then there's still another" I drove faster and the car following us does the same, Then I saw a gun pulled out of the window and pointed at us "Duck!"

"That's not fair! We don't have guns!!" we drove fast until we lost them "Aldren"

"What?!"

"Aldren watch out!" there was another car that belongs to the enemy in front of us, I tried to get our car away trying to avoid but we crashed, I failed. We got into accident, and everything turned out blurry and black, making me feel dizzy. The car was upside down, glass is shattered.

“Tyson” I mumbled as I got my senses slowly, I looked into the direction on where Tyson was and I cannot see him properly, all I can see is his side profile, blood dripping from his head, also glass pieces stabbed into his collar bone part. I tried to move but it was painful, a steel rod was stabbed into my abdomen, pulling it out can make it worse and it would cause of losing too much blood and death, I started to get dizzy again hearing some siren’s wailing coming, im passing out, forcing myself not to close my eyes until were rescued but the heaviness in my eyes won, and everything is dark.
