Three damn days and Ash has chosen to ignore my existence ever since I told Justin about what he was up to.
Not that it bothers me, I feel relieved to see less of him at home. I no longer have to feel anxious around him or struggle to catch my breath.
“What do you think about this set of pants and sleeves? They go well with the bag, don't you think?” Cara asked, interrupting my thoughts.
I looked at the outfit in her hands, trying to decide if it was a good match or not. It was my day off, and Cara had decided to take advantage of my free time to go shopping.
I couldn't refuse her, as I needed new jeans and sneakers myself. Walking over to the jeans section, I ran my hand over the different pairs hanging on the rack.
“So, did anything happen while I was on a date with Jace?”
