April's POV
Selene, Raven, and I went back to the party shortly after Adrian left. I was still in awe of Raven. I heard about the reincarnation story of her and her mates but I had never seen her or her mates in action. When I commented about it, Raven had waved it off saying what she did was nothing compared to what she could do.
I couldn't take my eyes off Adrian for the rest of the day. Each time I looked his way, he was also looking at me, and he made sure he winked at me each time, which made me blush furiously.
I tried my best to stop looking at him but I couldn't. The way he made my heart palpate with his caressing gaze and the way he made me blush sent excitement to my blood. At one point, I had to go outside before I burst from all the heat Adrian was sending my way.
