How we met is fiendishly comical
Of your bravado you said you were robbed.
Wary of my slur unsure.
That you couldn't accept the
intuited prize
Even when I netted your eyes.
You sent the fair friend you sat
with
Like he was the one enamoured
To see if he can have me
disarming lured
To your victorious bossom.
But the sweetness of his tongue
never hypnotized me
Neither was I enthralled by his affable quips
But out of his pry to be free
I showed him how to reach me
again
For I never see one as frisky as him
Unknown to me he was not swain.
Got me intrigued I never knew
he was not the real swain
That behind the garden was the
prince charming you
Waiting for this fair friend with
something good to hear.
Today how we became really
closed
Is beyond my intuition
For I can't believe we could come
this far.
There fore I see to our friendship
As part of our destiny.
And now you should know I can't
forget you.
You are the reason why my world
is as chirpy as you.
