I sat with everyone around the picnic table in the middle of the park, waiting for the professor to return. The cultural festival was a week away, so he thought it might be helpful if we visited the city and get a feel for our surroundings. He said sometimes magic was as much about atmosphere as it was about power. I enjoyed being away from the academy for a bit and getting fresh air.
