The next morning, one of the Shadow Peak trackers returned and informed us that Quinn was running north. “Why is he heading north?” Henry questioned after we received the report. “I don’t know.” Chris shook his head, “We don’t have any allies this far west. I thought he would go east and try to gather the rogues he worked with to find you.” "Were his rogues ever disbanded?" Davina questioned him. "I don't know." Chris repeated. “Did Charlie say how close he was to finding Quinn?” Xavier asked. “They’re just a few hours behind him, but he’s moving fast. It’s easier for a lone wolf to move quickly than a group.” Alex answered. “Henry, Jess, and I need to go after him.” I said, meeting my mate’s gaze. “Absolutely not!” Grant, Lance, and Chris objected simultaneously. “Addie’s right.”
