As the room held its breath, all eyes fixed on Serena, their collective attention riveted to her every move. In this moment, Serena was the sole focus, the unquestioned authority, the one who held the fate of the pack in her hands.
Without hesitation, Serena announced Jared's demotion,who was a mid-ranking warrior that had once shown great promise but had since let that potential wither into complacency. She stripped him of his rank and placed him under strict probation. Her voice was steady, final, leaving no room for argument.
"Jared’s getting what he deserves," someone whispered, the murmur barely audible.
“Finally. He’s been slacking off for months, making us cover for him,” another voice added, a hint of satisfaction in their tone.
