The morning sun streamed through the windows of the great hall, casting a warm glow. Long shadows danced across the polished floors, mingling with the golden light that filled the room, creating an atmosphere of quiet anticipation as the pack gathered once more.
Today was different, though. Today, Serena stood at the helm, her presence commanding and unyielding, much like the rising sun that illuminated her every move.
The pack had been summoned. I looked around, deeply disappointed to find that Gabriel hadn't shown up. I couldn't help but tap my cane heavily on the ground. That stupid i***t！—was he seriously not going to show up today?
