I: Faith
Cooper scribbled in his journal for a few more moments, then looked around the square.
“What an inspiring place! Fabulous, truly," he said. “But, really, I wish to tell you about what happened between Zane and me so long ago."
Cooper and Zane both participated in a summer high school program at Brown University when they were sixteen years old. The program focused on literature and writing. Cooper worked hard in the program and developed a good rapport with an instructor whose class they shared.
The class featured two competitive aspects, one resolved on the second day and one resolved on the last day: a paper in which each student wrote from the point of view of a chicken, and a final project, a short story, that represented what each student had worked on and learned during
