I look out into the crowd toward where the growl came from. I see the crowd parting as a man walks through followed by my dad and Papaw. My face fills with happiness at the sight of my dad and Papaw. Then I look back at the man who is angrily coming forward. The butterflies in my stomach start to flop around again as he gets closer. They reach the stage and I run over and embrace my dad. Then my Papaw.
"I'm so happy you guys made it." I say giving my dad another hug. Then I get yanked back and shoved behind Jay. "How can I help you King Jackson? The meeting isn't until tomorrow and I'm sorry but you seem to be interrupting a rather special moment. I have just proposed to my love." He states.
There's another growl. I try to step out from behind Jay to see King Jackson.
