I quietly walk back up to my bedroom, tears stinging my eyes. I breathe deeply, trying to catch my breath. My lungs burn from how quickly I ran home. What the hell was that? I think to myself. Ripping my clothes off, I chuck them onto the floor and throw my shorts and T-shirt back on before climbing into bed. A million questions run through my mind: Who was she? Is that his girlfriend? Would he lie to me? I can’t seem to quiet my thoughts as my mind continues racing. I fell asleep sometime after the sun came up, a restless sleep waking me every hour or so.
