“Goodnight,” Sia says as she squeezes me tightly.
“Night,” I reply with a soft smile.
Sia leaves my room to head off to bed, as she has been with me for three hours. I crawl out of bed and walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth. I put too much toothpaste on my brush and gag at the taste. I stare at myself in the mirror, and my dark circles have dark circles. My eyes are so puffy from crying, and my nose is red.
