Chapter 2

Jace’s POV

I’m Jace Anderson, a singer I had no plans for coming back to a small ass place like Chicago, but hey it was interesting. Almost everyone was walking to and from their jobs or other places. I was looking at my most recent song that I had written when all of a sudden a girl bumped into me. “s**t, I'm sorry I didn’t see you” she said. “Hey It’s okay, it was my fault for not watching” I told her. For some reason I had the urge to tell her my name and without thinking I was calling her out. “my name is Jace by the way” I told her, “cool name i’m Elaine” she said “Well see you later!” I told her, after that I was on my way to my studio where all my buddies and I were suppose to meet like twelve minutes ago, but hey it was worth being late Elaine sure looked like a hot piece of work sent to me by God. Okay maybe I went a little too far with that phrase, but she was pretty. “Hey dude! Earth to Jace!” Zach called out “what do you want” I asked him “well I was asking your dumb ass self when we were going to perform this week” he said. Me of course just told him that he could schedule it this time and it was hilarious seeing him so excited over something like that.
