Chapter 6: More time

Zane POV

When nearly noon came around and she still hadn't texted me, my wolf was itching with concern. My chest felt heavy, and I was wondering if I did something wrong to offend her. Or wait, was it Nick, that selfish controlling bastard trying to fill her thoughts of me using her again?!

I went and punched a tree. Then, I punched it 3 more times, leaving a gaping hole. My knuckles were bleeding, but I didn't care. I pretended the tree was Nick's face. f**k that guy Nick. He really needs to tread carefully with Faye and I.

"Woah there, you okay?" That voice was familiar it was Ryans. I turned around to him. " Why hasnt she texted me?" Ryan sighed and slowly shook his head. "Like hell am I supposed to know. Maybe you should text her then?"Ryan said looking towards me.

My pride said hell no every girl falls for me and acts needy for me. My wolf said Stop acting like a asshole and comfort her till she feels comfortable to want to text you.

Fuck it I'll talk to Alpha Wick about a extended lunch break to visit her in person and show her I am interested and to also show what she's missing out on. There, my wolf seemed so happy, and my pride was calmed to show Faye my body and heat and make her squirm and make her want me.

I headed out to Alphas Hut and Ryan chasing after me, asking me what I was doing after I had just had a tantrum. I was jealous. Nick had more time with my girl and could feed onto her almost whenever, and I was stuck in the mountains a hour away, letting that soul sucker steal her from me.

*Knock * Knock *Knock.

Alpha Wick had said from the other side of the door to come in.

Ryan joined me, and after I told the Alpha my feelings and how I was confused on winning her when that scumbag Nick was there

he told me I had fair points and would let me have a week's vacation, but when that vacation was over I was to become serious about work again or he'd punish me 6 days with no food, water and shelter. And if that wouldn't teach me, he'd banish me. I could get weeks' worth of sucking Faye up into trusting me and maybe even fall for me. Ryan was to join me. Babysit my anger and make sure I don't shift or have anyone identify what we were unless it was Faye.

After that, I sped to my own Hut, not wanting to waste another minute to go see my beautiful sexy little Faye. I want to kiss her and lick her and hold her and make her laugh, hear her hopes and dream, and maybe even see what her downstairs tastes like. I packed a week's worth of my clothes and books movies to keep myself entertained when I wasn't around that gorgeous mate of mine.

Ryans came in with his bags and said, "Alpha said to get her DNA and mail it asap." I nodded. That would be easy. All I needed was fingerprint or her cup she drank from or her hair.

Next thing I knew, I heard a now annoying voice "Zane love where are you going?"

I forgot about my fling, Gina. I ended it a week before Faye, but Gina had been persistent in thinking she could change fate and become my mate.

I didn't want to waste my time on her, not when I could spend this valuable time on Faye. I didn't even look at her and walked past talking. "Gina, I said it's over. You were just a fling, and besides, I found my mate, and I am going to her now."

I heard her teeth grind to that, and I gestured to Ryan to come along. As we got further away I heard Gina yelling "f**k you Zane!! you and I aren't over unless I say!! And you will pay for this!!"
