The moment I entered Alpha’s dining room,I knew I was late, judging from the position in which I had met them.
Callista was the first person who greeted me. Her smile was as bright as the sun, lighting up the room with joy. Soon enough, she will know she is in a critical condition. Once the poison starts its action, the smile on her face will turn to sadness like a never-ending rainstorm, drenching her spirit. A smile crept up on my face, realizing that she would soon be swimming in a pool of doom.
I noticed the dread that filled Lily's face as soon as I entered. She had been smiling heartily earlier, before I announced my presence.
