I squinted my eyes nervously, trying to check if I wasn't reading what I was seeing right. This is so clear and legible. My eyes aren’t deceiving me at all. Imogen wrote in her diary that ' my brother’s mate is having an affair with warrior Garret; I will make sure to expose them’. That was the last thing she wrote, and the rest of the diary was empty.
Garret and Selene? Having an affair?
It was as if someone ripped my heart out and stepped on it repeatedly without an ounce of sympathy. I felt the urge to stand up immediately and confront them, but what is here isn’t enough evidence for me to do so.
I felt a swirl of emotions, a mix of sadness and anger. I clenched and unclenched my fist. My blood was boiling like hot steam.
Was Imgoen joking when she wrote this?
