Selene’s POV~~
“Why do you always talk to me like I am nothing to you anytime he is present?” Garret’s voice carried a bit of disappointment, and his face was etched with gloom.
A frown creased my forehead. “Are you seriously saying this?” I scowled softly.
“You should treat me the same way you’re treating him.” His voice now reeks of jealousy.
“Huh.” My gaze was fixed on him. “It seems you don’t value your life, right?” I gave him a questioning stare.
“And what has that gotten to do with my life?”
“You know how cruel Cassius can be, right?. Did you want him to know that something is going on between us?” My voice was a bit raised. He was really getting on my nerves this time around.
