KC woke up on a bed. She shook her head lightly, trying to clear the haze. Reality hit her like a speeding truck. James kidnapped her, he has a gun. A dull ache on her stomach and face proved that it did happen. Where did he take her? It was too dark but she seemed to be in a bedroom. As her eyes adjusted to the gloom, she scanned the room, lifting her head to look around. To her left was a window covered by curtains. The door was to her right. She wondered if James was outside. Maybe she can escape while he's not around. She can hide somewhere and wait for her chance to run. Is it still night? How long since James took her? KC moved her hands and realized were tightly bound with ropes in front of her, cutting her skin. Trying to lift herself, she found that her feet were also tied.
