“Steve? Did you hear me?”
Steven turned towards his office door with a start. His father is standing there, a look of concern on his face.
“Dad?” He asked, embarrassed at being caught in a daydream.
He was thinking about his tryst with KC at the resthouse the other day. Still in awe that his wife convinced him to make love out in the open like that. It’s been an exhilarating experience. The fear of being seen mingled with the thrill of being able to show their passion with such abandon.
Martin walked into the room, to look at him closely.
“Your mother told me you went to the resthouse the other day.” He said in a careful tone.
“Yes, we did. It was KC’s idea.” He confirmed, feeling himself blush.
His father seemed to think his discomfort stems from fear and nodded sympathetically.
