“Son.” She called softly as she spotted him over KC’s shoulder. He remained rooted where he stood. Son, she called him. Does that mean she didn’t know yet? But why does she look so wary and sad? When he didn’t move, she walked towards him and enveloped him in a hug. She was so warm, smelling of the same perfume she wore since he was a child.
