REVENGE

Chapter 3

“Daddy....Daddy  look what I made” a little girl with blue eyes and blonde hair show her drawing to her father “Wow! Lucy you are a great artist, you should next draw a flower” Luca appraised her daughter. “ Come everyone breakfast is ready” a sweet voice calls out her husband and daughter to come for food. “let’s go or your mother will drag us with our ears” little girl giggled at her father’s antics.

They entered the kitchen which consists of a large area with a dining table in the centre where sir people can sit. Kitchen is painted in neutral colours with all the appliances aligned properly and Ana is standing on the stove flipping blueberry pancakes, Lucy favourite.

She smiled at them and told Luca that “ today is Lucy’s day off  from school, I will take her to the park. What do you think Lucy?” Lucy clapped her hands excited about going to park. “Wait for me we will go to the park together in the evening”. “No daddy, I want to go now” she whines. “ OK princess you can go but daddy will be sad” they all laugh.

Family is all Luca ever dream about because he was an orphan and spend most of his life on the orphanage till he was eighteen. Looking at his family he felt happy and at peace after his terrible past “ bye honey, bye princess be a good girl for daddy and have fun in the park” kissing his wife on the lips and daughter on the head he went out of his house.

“ Lucy finish your breakfast then we will go, ok” Ana started washing the dishes as Lucy finishes her breakfast. After hours or so and getting ready they started walking towards the park. “ Mommy can we also have some ice cream”. “ Baby you will get sick, but I’ll think about it” she change her mind after seeing her daughter pout. “ Yeyy.......” suddenly Ana saw a car coming their way, they tried to move but the hit them hard and they went flying to the pavement. Ana tried to move and see her daughter but she can’t move. She thought that the car will stop and help her but it didn’t,  she lost all her hopes to see her husband and daughter. She is having difficulty while breathing but she still tried to get up. 

Working in his office Luca feel anxious like something is wrong. His suspicious is confirmed when he got the call from hospital regarding the accident. At that moment his world shattered. He doesn’t know what to do, he called his secretary to take him to the hospital “ Sir you called me” questioned Mrs Davies “Sir what happened” tears were streaming down continuously. “Let’s go, and don’t worry they will be perfectly alright. Don’t lose hope OK!”.

Reaching hospital they run to the reception and question her “Do you know a patient named Ana Endorsing, recently admitted because of an accident”. “ Yes sir, she is right now in operation theatre”. 

They run to the operation theatre praying for the safety of his daughter and wife. Mrs Davies brought water for him and set a comforting hand on his shoulder in order to give him support. A doctor come out of operation theatre “Doctor how is my wife and daughter” he asked anxiously. “ Sorry sir but they are no more. We tried our best to save them but they were already dead. I am really sorry” he fell down on the floor all he feel is pain, intense pain in his chest, like someone is taking soul out of his body in the most painful way.

He doesn’t want to live anymore. His reason to live are not with him anymore so he has no reason to live.  He feels like a part of him is lost. He wanted to kill that person who ruined his life, who killed the loves of his life.

Reaching home, he went to his library and tried to find the book given to him by an old lady when he was younger. He still remember working for a old librarian as a young boy to save money for college. She was a weird women  who killed cats and drink their blood. She gave him the book one day and said “I know you will need it one day my boy, I know you will” that time he didn’t think he will need it but still kept it.

Finding the book, he go through the pages looking for something but didn’t know what he is looking for. Suddenly, his eyes fell upon a page where he saw something along the lines “Sacrifice and brought dead to life” he skim through the pages and read the details about the given procedure.

The process is about bringing a dead life to the world by impaling himself on a dead body of the dead person. Its all about selling his soul to the devil in order for the life of his loved one.

Now he knows what to do. He went to the market and bought many candles and packets of chalk powder and two bottles of whisky. He went to the hospital to get the dead body of his daughter. Taking it home, he made a star from chalk and put a candle on each end, putting the dead body of his daughter in the centre of star he cut his wrist artery deeply and put his wrist  on the mouth of his daughter continuously chanting “ I sacrifice my soul to whom, who rebelled against  the God, who is the king of hell, whom I shell worship till death to bring back my daughter soul and punish those who is the cause of her death”.

Taking a drink from his whisky bottle he continued chanting till he feels his soul leaving his body but he doesn’t know that he is not just inviting his daughter soul  to this world but also something that should not be brought to this world.
