Dannaya's POV
I woke up earlier than usual. If I waited for my alarm clock to ring, it would probably shatter my eardrums.
Tsk.
I headed straight to the bathroom.
Twenty minutes later, I stepped out of the shower and put on my disguise. I couldn't afford to let anyone recognize me. If my identity was exposed, those annoying bitches at school would never stop causing trouble.
"Hmp. So irritating..."
As I walked downstairs, I found Mom waiting in the living room.
"I'm leaving."
She looked up at me. "Aren't you going to eat first?"
"No. Bye."
She hesitated for a moment before giving me a small nod.
"Nayaa!" I stopped and turned around.
"What?"
"Yesterday..." she began carefully. "Who picked you up?"
Tsk. So that's what she wanted to ask.
"No one."
Without waiting for another question, I walked out of the house and headed toward the parking area.
"Y-Young Lady, I'm sorry I couldn't pick you up yesterday." It was Alvin, my personal driver.
"Nah. It's okay. Let's go." His tense expression immediately softened into a smile before he opened the car door for me.
The drive to school was quiet.
A few minutes later, we arrived at the front gate.
"Take care, Young Lady." I simply nodded.
I've never been the type to smile, so everyone around me had long since gotten used to it.
The moment I stepped inside the campus, the usual swarm of gossiping students greeted me.
"Girl! She's here!"
"You're right!"
"I heard new students enrolled yesterday. That's why our afternoon classes were canceled."
"I hope they're handsome... and the girl's beautiful too!"
Tsk
New students?
I couldn't care less.
Ignoring everyone, I continued walking toward my classroom.
Class 3-A
I entered the room and headed straight for my seat. Resting my head on my desk, I closed my eyes, hoping to catch a few minutes of sleep.
Unfortunately...
"Gosh! I heard the transferees are a boy and a girl!"
"Really? I hope the girl becomes my best friend... and the boy becomes my boyfriend!"
"Ew. Stop dreaming, bitch."
It was the same girl who had fought Llen in the cafeteria.
Tsk.
They're so noisy.
There went my chance to sleep.
I might as well head to the cafeteria.
Cafeteria
I walked to the counter.
"One cheeseburger and one Coke Float."
The cashier smiled politely.
"Certainly, Miss. Here's your order."
After paying, I found an empty table near the exit and quietly ate my breakfast.
Thankfully...
No one disturbed me.
Two minutes later, I finished eating and checked the time.
7:50 A.M.
Class would start soon.
I quickly returned to my classroom.
The door was already closed when I arrived, so I knocked.
"Miss Mendez," our teacher said, "why are you late?"
Tsk.
"No. I'm not late. It's 7:58, and our class starts at 8:00."
Without another word, I walked past her and returned to my seat.
So...
Those "new students" everyone had been talking about...
They were my new classmates.
Whatever.
Agua Lessanna's POV
Annyeong!
My name is Agua Lessanna Aqua.
Of course, I couldn't use my real name in the mortal world. People would definitely find it strange.
So, for now, my name is Lessanna Ortiz.
We're actually eighteen years old, but we tell everyone we're only seventeen. We still have baby faces anyway, so no one questions it.
We came to the mortal world to complete an important mission.
I'm here with my twin brother, Aquilis, and our friends, Thunder and Earthia.
"Hey, Leaf! Hurry up! You're so slow!" my brother shouted.
"Oh, please. Says the person who's impossible to wake up!" Thia shot back.
Rey and I exchanged helpless glances.
"Hurry up! We're going to be late!"
The moment I yelled, everyone suddenly moved faster than lightning.
Serves them right.
Because of everyone's laziness, Rey had no choice but to drive almost recklessly just so we'd make it to school on time.
As soon as we stepped out of the car...
"Kyaah! They're so handsome and beautiful!"
"I hope we become friends with them!"
We ignored the whispers and continued toward our classroom.
Section 3-A.
"Hey, Water. Stop. This is our classroom."
Tsk.
She really talks too much.
"Keep your voice down. Someone might hear you."
She only flashed me a peace sign.
"Rey, knock."
"Huh? Why me?"
Because I'm not doing it.
He sighed dramatically before knocking.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
The classroom door opened.
"You must be the transferees?"
"Yes, Ma'am," Thia answered politely.
"Come in. Class, we have new classmates. Please introduce yourselves."
I stepped forward.
"Hello. I'm Lessanna Ortiz. I'm seventeen."
"Hi. I'm Lance Ortiz, Lessanna's twin. I'm seventeen."
"Annyeong! I'm Thia Cruz. I'm sixteen."
"Rey Gomez. Seventeen."
"Very well. You may take your seats."
We settled in at the back of the classroom as our teacher began discussing the lesson.
A few minutes later...
Someone knocked.
The instant the classroom door opened...
I felt it.
A strange...
Powerful aura.
I nudged Rey.
"Did you feel that?"
"Yeah."
"Miss Mendez, why are you late?" our teacher asked.
"No. I'm not late. It's 7:58, and our class starts at 8:00."
A chill ran down my spine.
Her voice was cold.
Too cold.
But it wasn't just that.
There was something about her...
Something unusual.
Maybe...
We'll become friends with her someday.
Dannaya's POV
Ignoring the teacher, I returned to my seat beside one of the new students.
The lesson continued peacefully until...
Riiing! Riiing!
"Alright, class. See you tomorrow."
Everyone immediately began leaving the classroom.
I headed straight for the cafeteria to grab a snack.
Time Skip
I had just started eating when someone approached my table.
"Can we join you? There aren't any empty seats left."
"K."
I answered without looking up.
"I'm Lessanna."
"Rey."
"Thia."
"Lance."
"Dannaya." That was all I said before continuing my meal.
Time Skip
I finally arrived back at my room in the mansion.
Sigh..
.
What an exhausting day.
Without changing my clothes, I collapsed onto my bed.
Maybe getting some sleep would make tomorrow a little less annoying.
