obody dared say a word as they returned to the earthmen's campsite. Michael, who was flanking General Stone, noticed that he did not mean to let his mind wander; he seemed to have a kind of fire in him, which was certainly due to his anger at what he had seen shortly before.
Despite darkness was dominating Proxima B's immense sky now, Mr. Stone and his men were advancing quickly into the forest thanks to their own special torches with which they all contributed to light up the way according to the directions given by Michael and the satellite navigation systems included in their devices.
