“Listen to me. This is going to sound crazy, but we are not alone on this planet,” Matthew reported. The expression on the pilot’s face grew even more alarming. Then Matthew went on saying, “Do you remember what has happened to you?”
Michael seemed to be absent for some time.
“Yes, I do. I remember I was wandering in the forest when I saw a group of masks… just like those ones!” he cried out, pointing at some masks hanging on the wall of the house and similar to the ones that he had seen among the trees in the forest.
Matthew turned round but he did not show any sign of surprise or fear while observing them.
“Listen to me. I was telling you that we’ve made a mistake in our calculations. We’re not the only human beings on Proxima B!”
Matthew did not even have time to end his sentence.
