CHAPTER 4

The Revenge..

The beautiful morning, as a canvas of light..the sun gently rising chasing the night away... The sounds of the birds could be heard as they sing sweet melodies in the sky..Mia feeling determined couldn't wait to fulfill her mother's wish..

"Are you ready for this." Lycan King Jude asked her to be sure..

"Yes I am." Mia said confidently

"I'll always be by your side..Don't be afraid..Remember this." Lycan King Jude said reassuringly..

"And again try to distract yourself with everyword that Alpha Louis will say because if you listen keenly to him.. You'll be manipulated by his powers..Make sure you do things to distract yourself." Lycan King Jude said

"How do I distract myself." Mia asked, already confused

"You can distract yourself by doing things that will keep you from not listening to whatever he says like tapping your feet, whistling or clapping..just doing things to distract yourself from him.. Do not forget. "

"Alright thank you very much... I've heard what you've said." Mia replied..

Lycan King Jude gave her a wrist bead stating that the bead will reduce the effect of the black magic powers when being come in contact with.. As we embark on this journey,please don't forget all I have said and taught you...Mia nodded giving him a powerful and positive look..

As they got to Moon pack,Alpha Louis already sensed their presence and he was getting prepared for them.. He said Mia was a piece of cake and could be eliminated in less than a minute. He told his son Alpha Duke to get himself as he would finish the battle he had started.. Telling him about the presence of Mia and she would be close to the palace very soon..

"Take this." Alpha Louis said sternly

"What is this father." Alpha Duke asked

Alpha Duke asked his father the substance he has giving to him..He was scared of it because it was looking hideous..

"Swallow it immediately and stop asking me questions."Alpha Louis shouted..

"I won't swallow this until you tell me what this is." Alpha Duke said glaring at him..

Alpha Duke was keen on not swallowing it until his father tells him what that was as he looked at his father waiting for a response..

"Okay..Since you Insist I'll tell you..This is black magic.. It was powerful, it helped me in my time and it is ready to help you in yours if you adhere strictly. " Alpha Louis said

"Swallow this now, as Mia and her accomplice are very close to the palace...This will give you mighty powers like you ever imagined." Alpha Louis added, trying to convince his son to swallow the substance

Alpha Duke looked at the substance and didn't know he would Swallow this so called black magic as he scanned through it thoroughly..

"Will you swallow this thing you weakly!"Alpha Louis shouted..

Alpha Duke immediately swallowed it, fell on the floor and immediately stood of with great force..He became more powerful and strong,becoming possessed by the black magic powers.. His voice became so deep and harsh..Alpha Louis was happy about this transformation and he couldn't wait for Mia to get to the palace..

"Why are you here?" Alpha Duke said loudly..

Mia couldn't believe the transformation of Alpha Duke and she already knew he was being possessed.. By then, the news had spread round the pack and everyone couldn't wait to witness this as they all headed to the palace..

"Don't forget all I have taught you...Goodluck my love."Lycan King Jude whispered those words to her..

Mia was surprised at what Lycan King Jude said..

"Did he just say my love?" She thought..

Mia immediately wiped out the thoughts and decide to concentrate on her reason for being here... Alpha Duke approached her slowly..

"Why are you here? " Alpha Duke asked shouting at the top of his voice..

"I am Mia,the daughter of Alpha Pete and Sara of Moon pack.. I have come to take what is rightfully mine..I have come for revenge." Mia said authoritatively..

The werewolves of Moon pack were happy to hear this because they never liked Alpha Louis due to the fact his ruled them with no mercy...They were happy that their saviour was here...

"Did you say revenge." Alpha Duke asked laughing in a high tone..

"Okay, let's finish what our Father's started..Bring it on." Alpha Duke said fiercely..

Alpha Louis started talking trying to manipulate Mia..Mia remembered all what Lycan King Jude told her and she started tapping her feet trying to distract herself.. As Alpha Louis noticed that it was having an effect on her, he realized she came prepared.. Alpha Louis walked to his son telling him to finish her...

Alpha Louis announced to everyone they would be a battle between Alpha Duke and Mia stating that winner would be crowned as Alpha to Moon pack..The werewolves that remembered the battle with Alpha Louis and Mia's father became scared for Mia.. Hoping that she wins and ends the cruelty of Alpha Louis...

"You rejected me, making me a mockery on my wedding due to your evil deal."Mia said exposing their plans to everyone

"Today marks your end for I am ready and the spirit of my late parents is with me." Mia said confidently...

They fought with every strength..Mia fought with everything she had.. As she realized Alpha Duke became more stronger as they fought.. She started loosing her strength but was also determined on not giving up..

"The bead."Lycan King Jude shouted from the crowd trying to remind her..

Mia remembered that the bead reduces the effects of the black magic powers....With the strength she had,she immediately removed the bead,she placed it on his forehead.. Pounced on him and knocked him out with blows... Alpha Duke became unconscious at that point and he vomited the substance he had earlier swallowed,"the black magic"...
