Richard’s pov. The sun was barely up when I woke up the next day, but it didn’t matter. I hadn’t slept much anyway. The bed felt too big. Too empty. Susan hadn’t come home after our argument. I didn’t call her either. What for? If I was leaving for Madrid today, the last thing I needed was to deal with her creating more drama.
