I inhale and exhale deeply before walking up to the chaotic scene Tessa's uncles are creating and as they see me, they fall silent. The Gold brothers have always hated me. They thought Mr Gold would see Tessa as a weak child just because she was a girl and would hand over his dynasty to them to share. And when I came into the picture, they saw me as a threat.
Little did they know that Mr. Gold wasn't so narrow-minded. Mr Gold made sure Tessa could do all that a male child could do for him, and then he handed all his fortune to her.
