The drive to the hospital was very long and silent. I had been hoping that Tessa would be able to pull some stunt or string that would make her father call off this wedding, but she did no such thing and now we're married.
The marriage isn't entirely my problem or issue. I don't plan to go any extra mile for this marriage. I just got married to Tessa to please her father and to help him look after her. Romantically or in any other way, I have nothing to give, and Tessa expects nothing from me. In the same way, I expect nothing from her. All I want from her is respect. Respect I am willing to give back to her as long as I get it from her.
Mr. Gold's death has been predicted to happen anytime soon, and that worries me. I'd have to watch another loved one leave me
